Les Dessous de Catherine

Special Humor Show

1 x 60 minutes

2003

Broadcaster: Radio-Canada

An authentic mock documentary... Mockumentary in English, documenteur in French. In Quebec, we’ve never heard of such a thing, so we call it Les Dessous de Catherine (Catherine’s Unmentionables): an authentic 60-minute mock documentary in which fiction and reality mix. Pseudo-testimonials from the starring actors, archive footage and fake photos galore provide the content of this zany Catherinography. And to play the documentary parody to the hilt, the deep, intriguing voice of Paul Beauregard accompanies the footage, guiding television viewers through the dark corners behind the scenes of the popular sitcom. The result is an unlikely saga fit for True Hollywood Stories.
