Attention chiens dangereux

Documentary

1 x 60 minutes

2009

Broadcaster: Canal Vie

In Quebec, 117,000 dog bites occur each year, leaving a trail of torn flesh, mutilations, disfigurements and loss of young lives. Among the guilty parties are the dogs we love to hate—such as pit bulls—but surprisingly, most dog bites come from dogs that are loved and trusted all too much. Should we be re-examining our relationship with dogs? Through striking interviews with victims and through differing expert opinions, the documentary Attention chiens dangereux explores the myths and realities of dog attacks, offering an open forum for reflection, as well as ideas for helping man and his best friend to live together more harmoniously.
