Le monde est sexe is a magazine that looks at the world, history, current events, the economy and science from a sexual point of view. The originality of the show is precisely in the fact that it looks at the world from a sexual point of view—and not at the world of sex.

In this series, there is a tenacious bias, an artist’s opinion, a singular point of view, a way of thinking and apprehending realities that is original and, at times, speculative. But this unapologetic partiality is the product of a desire to do professional work that stands up to scrutiny. To put it bluntly, Le monde est sexe is based on the imperfect yet enticing and effervescent idea that men and women are descendants of sex and that their personal and social lives are powerfully affected by this.
