Claude Blanchard - Que reste-t-il de nos amours?

Documentary

90 minutes

1997

Broadcaster: Radio-Canada

With an eminently personal touch, Claude Blanchard, hosts this program in which he tells us the story of his life and career. From the little urchin who didn’t have so much as two nickels to rub together to the celebrated artist that he would one day become, we walk with him through the places that watched him grow up, develop and climb to the peak of his career. To look back at the intense, eventful life of Claude Blanchard, what better setting than a cabaret atmosphere. Recorded in front of a live audience on a set designed to imitate the boîte à chansons La cravate blanche, the program is a mish-mash of songs, sketches and cabaret pieces.
