La machine à broyer les hommes

In Quebec, one out of every two marriages ends in divorce. In 80% of cases, the mother is awarded custody of the children. Is the proportion of fathers who are uninterested or unable to care for their children really this high? Is the image that resides in the collective consciousness of absent, violence-prone fathers unwilling to pay child support hide an even more distressing situation? Are the men of Quebec the victims of a Man-Grinder machine? Through the testimony of Jacques, Assane, Francis, André and Sylvain, writer-producer Serge Ferrand paints an alarming picture of the status of men in Quebec.
