STIE : Sacrer, c’est sacré!

Documentary

1 x 60 minutes

2007

Broadcaster: Radio-Canada

This documentary takes a historical, sociological, linguistic, psychological, anthropological, cultural and religious look at the most striking prerogative of Quebeckers’ spoken language—swearing. Guests’ tongues loosen as they seek to better understand this controversial way of venting our emotions. An anti-globalization discourse is humorously and allegorically grafted onto interviews to shine the spotlight on an important issue for our time—the disappearance of this unique and colourful national characteristic.
