Hosted by Patrice L’Écuyer, the game show Les Beaux Parleurs puts the knowledge of people in the street to the test and wagers on the perspicacity of two competing participants in the studio. The studio participants can win cash prizes by determining which of these unknown men and women in the street will be able to answer—or not answer—the questions posed by Patrice L’Écuyer. Each round includes four heats during which the participants must determine who has answered correctly and who has given the wrong answer. They must also predict how a participant of their choosing will answer. Patrice L’Écuyer received the 2002 MetroStar award in the category Game Show Host.
