Musique du monde… d’ici is a one-hour trip around the world with local artists from all different cultures, musical genres and styles. A far-reaching, pull-out-all-the-stops extravaganza that flies the visual and musical colours of the four corners of the world—found right in our own backyard. A tour of far-off horizons of music, sounds, instruments and songs of the world that influence the artists who are familiar to us or that they have brought back from their travels. A wonderful excuse to discover or rediscover the artists from all over the world who live and work right here. Musique du monde… d’ici is a celebration of intercultural attentiveness and the musical creations that ensue.
