Les Mille et une nuits de Noël

Les Mille et une nuits de Noël transports us to a fabulous quest in search of the deep meaning of the Nativity. Hosted by Angèle Dubeau, this 60-minute musical special presents nine tableaux depicting nine ways to celebrate Christmas. In a variety of musical styles from gospel to classical, The Rock, Matthew White, Alain Trudel, Alain Lefèvre and Angèle Dubeau, Florent Volant, Paul Kunigis, Carlos Placeres, Marie-Denise Pelletier and Luc Beauséjour tell a musical story of the origins of this festival and its diverse forms. This sweeping collage conveys some of the most beautiful childhood memories of these artists from many different horizons, who share their traditions with us, showing us some of the richness and scope of the meanings that inform Christmas.
