On June 23, 2009, the men and women of Quebec join the crowds at the Plains of Abraham through their television sets. Under the guidance of Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge, the 2009 edition of the Quebec national holiday in the capital of Quebec offers up a celebration that is rich in music. Featuring not only renowned artists, but also young singer-songwriters, the stage makes room for a melange of genres and for diversity. For one act, Louise Forestier joins forces with the emerging group El Motor for a look back at the hits that mark off the stages of his career. The oeuvre of Richard Séguin, whose words resonate in the hearts of audiences from several generations, is also the subject of a special presentation.
