La joute

Based on the Croatian concept Piramida, La joute is a weekly debate game show. Three media stars hosted by game master Stéphan Bureau face off with the clock ticking for discussions that can be lively, funny, sometimes serious and engaging, and always entertaining. Four topics having to do with current events and concerns of Quebec audiences get the debate started. Recorded in front of a live audience and broadcast live, La joute gives spectators in the studio audience the opportunity to cheer on their favourite guest. Home viewers play an essential role in the action by voting by phone or on line for the participant who they think has given the strongest argument. This exciting contest lasts 60 minutes.
